I have a strange urge to shop for fancy stuff. You know like very expensive shoes, Movado watches and Gucci purses. Not that I’m a big name brand shopper, but I do prefer some stuff be name brand - and if it IS a brand name, you can bet your patootie I’m going to make sure the label is VERY easy for everyone to see 
Tonight my neighbour showed me some videos of rc helicopters doing some pretty cool stuff! I have to admit I was pretty skeptical at first but I did entertain him and watch - to be totally honest, I’d probably watch paint dry with him (yes I said it 
).
BUT it was pretty darn amazing what the little things can do. They were upside down, doing loops, and bouncing up and down in a rhythym - very cool - and really, a pretty great gift idea for the hard to buy for man on your shopping list
I don’t know if they grow legs or what happens but the pens in my house disappear like single socks. They go to a special place - again I’ll assume it’s where the socks go - and I never see them again.
And of course, much like the socks, I never realize I don’t have one until I REALLY need it . Like as I’m going out the door and the kids have just reminded me that today is the last day possible to get their Pizza Day order in 
(shaking my head) - if you’re a parent I’d like to think that you too have lived this adventure .
That’s why, no matter what the company is, if they are handing out promotional pens, I’m all over it I’ll take two actually - after all, one will be leaving shortly to join Matt’s new, blue sock
Well sign me up for acne treatments it looks like I have a pimple . Yes I realize that ONE pimple doesn’t warrant treatment but I never get them so I’m kind of freaked out. I’ll probably just try old standby - toothpaste 
. Yeah it sounds really silly when I write it out but I promise you, it works - why? I have no idea LOL!! 
I think i need to run away for a while. Just phone a New York Moving Company and take the kids and just zoom away Not forever of course, just for a little while. There’s some stuff going on here that I’d rather not witness any longer. I could go away and come back when everyone is sane again LOL! Or at least when the dust settles - that would be cool.
I’m still setting up my house. I’ve been living here for ummm… I dunno, maybe a couple of months now and I know it should be done already but, alas, it’s not. I’ve just had tons of other priorities. Anyway, I’m almost done finally. I just need to buy two storage units from Ikea and I’ll be ready (for the most part LOL).
I do still have some stuff I’m not sure what to do with - a couple chairs n some boxes of stuff I don’t know when I’d ever use - but I’m not ready to get rid of it yet. It’s not enough to put in self storage place I don’t think, so for now I’ll just stash it into the basement - where all the extras go
I always thought that everyone had car insurance that meant that someone else could drive their car in a pinch. Apparently though, that’s not the case …or my friend was pulling my leg and just REALLY did NOT want me to drive his Hummer. And seriously, if THAT is the case I will kick his butt!
He left his truck in my driveway for the weekend and I said that I’d love to take the girls out for a drive and he said that he would have been okay with it but since I’m not insured to drive it… he’d have to say no. So… Hrmmmm… is it HIS insurance that is poopy or MY insurance?? Answers anyone???
I find them a bit scarey because of Titanic - i think I’d always be wondering if we’d sink while i was sleeping - doesn’t sound relaxing 
But, that said, with what seems like everyone I know telling me how fantastic cruises are, I think i would give one a try - as long as the price was reasonable. Like everything else in life, it all comes down to whether I can afford it LOL!!
After my last stay in the hospital, i got to thinking about whether I should wear one of those medical id bracelets showing that I’m allergic to penicillin. Now, I know some of you are shaking your heads because to you, it’s a no brainer that I should wear the bracelet but I keep thinking that it’s not a life threatening allergy - I get hives - so wearing one might make me look like a drama queen. Know what I mean?
I’m not sure if I’ve ever mentioned it or not before but, my mom is legally blind. Of course, to those of you who aren’t familiar with blindatness, that does not mean that she can’t see at, just that she can’t see very well at all.
Anyway, one of the ways to make her life easier is to get her little aids that can help her in her day to day life. My favourites are the things that talk, like the talking watches. They are sooo handy but they are also a great conversation starter and i thinks she enjoys that too.
