Resumes for friends?

A friend of mine is looking to get into the company I work in. Not the same department but rather a techy job (though yes, mine does have it’s techy aspects). I’m not sure what to tell him to put on his resume. I could help with marketing resumes – since that’s the department I work in – but the techy stuff I’m just not sure about. I guess maybe I’ll focus instead on helping get his resume to the right person instead . That should help!
