Do I Need A TV in My Livingroom?

In my quest to decide on a layout for my livingroom I keep coming back to the question of where to put the TV. Every now and then I have a friend ask if I really need a TV on my main floor at all when I have one in the family room.

It gets me pondering whether I do need one. It would certainly eliminate my dilemma of where to put the tv stand and entertainment center. Trouble is, I would like to have friends over to watch a movie every now and then and that means that the kids will need to be in the family room so the grown ups can have some space… and that means I’ll need a TV in the livingroom. So, I guess I just answered my own question Ug, more shopping…
