Do you spend a lot on decorating your house?
I really don’t like to. My opinion is that I can better spend my money on investments or things that kids need. Name brands like Hinkley lighting are fun to look at, but unless I inherit a lot of money (highly unlikely unless I have a rich Aunt I don’t know about 
), I’m going to save my money and shop at a discount store.
Some people don’t agree though. I know friends who feel that their house has to look like they have a lot of money. They buy everything custom made from expensive designer stores and make sure to mention prices of things. Of course I like to mention prices too but only because I love to tell people what a great deal I got on things LOL!!

I don’t spend a lot of money on decorating my house. With 2 kids still at home, plus a couple of other “adopted/foster” kids, we can’t afford to. But, I do like my house to look nice! Our walls are still white from when we moved in almost 2 years ago, but slowly but surely we will get them painted. And slowly but surely we are adding nice decorative touches to it. We hired my son-in-law, at a reduced rate, to landscape our yard in preparation for one of our “foster” kids graduation parties. Over time we will have a nicely decorated house, for a much lower price!
I’m actually excited about trying my hands on home decorating for less but for now, we only have our own room to decorate.=) Nice blog!
