How much wine is too much for weight loss?

I guess I’m just wondering if alcohol is REALLY as bad as some say when it comes to weight loss. I’ve been told by a friend that my glass or two of wine every now and then is really messing up my desire to lose weight :shock: .

I don’t drink much, certainly don’t need alcohol rehab or anything but I do wonder if my Friday night glass or so with Hubby is a bad idea.

I’m starting back following Weight Watchers - Jenny Craig really upset me (but that’s another story for another time) - and they say a glass is only 2 points so that’s what I’m following for this week. I’ll see how the weight loss goes and they alter it if I see the wine being a problem - I sure hope it won’t be ;) .
