I suppose that’s it really. My question is in the title there. Recently a person I know – who shall remain unnamed for their safety (LOL 
), purchased a beautiful table. This is lovely of course, no argument there. The kicker though is that said lovely table has to be “protected at all times” with a tablecloth

So, in actual fact, no one will ever SEE the table except when the tablecloth is removed for cleaning… right… okay… Call me crazy but, why not just have a crappy table and cover IT with a beautiful tablecloth?? After all, it’s the tablecloth everyone will see anyway.
Is it just me?? … yeah, it probably is again LOL
