The Good Credit Card?

I know what you are thinking, how can that even be possible… a GOOD credit card??? No way.

I guess it comes down to the lesser of the evils for me though. The way I see it, credit cards are a necessity even if only for identification purposes when you want to use a check as payment. Next step up is to use it only for emergencies and every step up from there just involves more of a balance on it soooooo, the main question I always ask about a credit card is (drum roll please…) what is the interest rate? Why? Because I know I’m going to put a balance on it :)

Co-op, the ethical bank as they call themselves, is a company that offers credit cards with a very attractive 0% on purchases and balance transfers for six months.

They also offer a card that earns money for your chosen organization as you spend. Certainly having a card that gives to an organization of your choice, is unique way to be charitable all year round without feeling a pinch. This would be especially relevant to people who don’t carry a balance (and thus don’t care about the interest rate) but who do use there credit card regularly ;)

Personally, I still like the low interest rate :)
