I am Geek-Mommy - hear me type!!

Sometimes a compliment comes in the funniest form.

I was talking with a good friend today and he told me about kijiji.com. I had never heard of it and he said, with surprise, “A geek like YOU?! I can’t believe you haven’t heard of it.” Funny. I know he was being silly - razzing me like a big brother might - but in truth, I enjoyed the thought of it

I am a geek. At least I have become one over the last two years since I’ve been working online. I DO pride myself on “knowing what’s going on in the online world” - at least in my “work at home mom” part of the sphere anyway And, I’ve become very comfortable with my online business-persons’ tasks.

I know how to build a website, I can buy a domain, redirect it and put a blog on it in my sleep, I know what SEO, PPP, CMS and POF are (okay the last one is just for fun I promise ). I understand a bit of html and I know how to do a bunch of stuff that others would never consider doing on their own… yes, I truly do bask in my Geek Status - I am Geek Mommy - hear me type!!
