Dips, Chips and Burgers

Those would be the main foods I blame for my 4 pound weight gain over our 10 day cottage stay. I used to wonder why it was that I felt I HAD to snack the whole time and eat the things I love while I was away but now I know what it is… Dear Hubby calls it a vacation so I treat myself and relax.

Truth is, I really don’t relax at the cottage but I see everyone else around me… relaxing. So, to counter it, I do something that I enjoy. No, I don’t read a book (that would mean being antisocial apparently) and I certainly don’t sleep in… so I eat the foods I love with little concern for calories and what I may or may not be doing to my poor scale LOL :D

So here I am with the same old gripe you’ve heard a million times – I need to lose weight, AGAIN. Sheesh! I wish I could just check in to one of those great weight loss spas… ;)
