Today I went shopping and bought two skorts. I have other skorts – crisp cotton – that i’m sure are mommy-appropriate. It’s the new ones i’m not so sure about.
Both are made of sweatshirt material; both are short. One is black and the bottom of the skirt is pleated. I know it’s a young style but i think it looks cute on me. The other is white with an unfinished hem and sporty casual (so is the other one actually).
I’m just not sure if at 37 i’m allowed to wear something so trendy. Am i’m pushing it??? I think they’ll be really cute at the cottage with my swim suit or also with a casual t-shirt. Well, i guess i’ll just have to leave it up to the girlfriends’ judgement 
If i put them on and hear… “oh, Hon. you are NOT wearing that” I’ll know the answer 
By the same token, if i hear “OMG! I love that!”, i’ll know i’m okay
