THIS is a Large??? You’ve GOT to be kidding!

I don’t go everyday but, quite often i treat myself to a Tim Horton’s coffee. Yes, I know I could make my own coffee much cheaper but frankly i’m too darn lazy/impatient/busy to bother - sad but alas, completely true.

To add to the normalcy, I always get the same size coffee, done the same way - “extra large coffee with 4 milks and two sugars please” (go ahead and ask WHY on earth 4 milks…. it’s to replace the creaminess of the cream i gave up two years ago… maybe you should consider it too Honey (you know i can say that cause we’re friends right??) ).

Anyway, there i was today, same store; same order. But when New Girl, aka Grumpy-I-Wish-I-Was-At-Home-Girl handed me my coffee I was caught off guard and I blurted out “what…what size is THIS???” She shot back “its a Large” and closed the window to go get the bagel and donut i’d ordered for the king and queen in the back seat (bribery anyone??).

So i stew for a minute… of course at this point i KNOW it’s the large because it’s happened before (and i know it will happen again as soon as i forget the importance of enunciating the word EXTRA when i order) but i’m still irritated… i needs me that caffeine Lady!!!

Before i knew it she shoved the bagel and donut in my hand and closed the window again.. leaving me asking the children “what MAN decided this tiny thing is a large????”
