I’m Not Planning a Nap So STOP Humming!!

I like to think of myself as a calm and reasonable person (though i suspect i’m not really LOL) but i do have a few “things” that drive me squirrelly.

One of them reared it’s unreasonable head at me today. There i was at Costco, browsing the books - I LOVE to read! - when all of a sudden i heard it…. HUMMING. A few of us were browsing the books and as i got closer to a lovely, grandmotherish lady it got louder. “lalalallalaaaaaaaaallalala”

You know how finger nails on a chalkboard make some people crazy?? Well the sound of someone humming or singing to themselves while i am trying to do something (and i always am doing something even if it’s just breathing) drives me completely crazy. I know, you think i’m being cranky and maybe she is just a happy camper and loves the sound of her own voice - that’s super, just save it for the car ride home honey - this is Costco NOT the Canadian Idol auditions

Unless her first name was Celine and her last name rhymed with Zion, i have no desire to hear her rendition of any tune she’s having trouble shaking from her memory. It’s distracting and impolite - save it for karaoke night when people are there to hear the singing… at Costco i’m there to shop in peace!
