Today we were supposed to be hosting a late family Christmas celebration at our house.
But, leave it to Mother Nature to change the plans – freezing rain anyone??? Everyone was traveling at least an hour to get to our house and with the bad weather, who can blame them, they are all staying put.
Now this does have it’s good points as I sit with a Rock Star (citrus flavoured thank-you), and begin a day of serious work – the gift of time to work LOL. Yes, I know it’s Sunday but I do need the time to work and somehow I believe that God understands. Besides, if I love it can it really be considered work 
? I need to look that one up.
Hubby is having a friend of his, who’s bringing his kids over too, to help eat all the food we have laying around – GOSH, another reason I need to get upstairs to work. Those goodies and appetisers are NOT safe with me around (what would Jenny say LOL). The kids will play, I will work/play and the big boys will watch football. All in all, not a bad deal
