Why are back to school clothes all for winter??!!

This drives me crazy. I want the kids to have great first day of school outfits but it looks like it’s going to be warm so, yep, I need summer clothes. Of course this time of year these are very tough to find. Sigh…

I ended up buying a $30 short sleeved shirt (!) for Jenn from GAP that I’ll pair with a skort she already has. I NEVER pay that kind of money for a t-shirt for any of us but the first day is so important (to me that is - the kids don’t care at all). I found Matt a great shirt from The Children’s Place that was on sale so I feel a bit better but still… the money goes so fast.

Anyone out there buy Crocs for their kids this year? Matt and Jenn don’t want them so no worries there. I think I’d like a hot pink pair though
