Trying and failing isn’t so bad
Yesterday I posted about doing what you love. Today I want to respond to those of you who read it and felt only the fear of failure. If your idea is a very inexpensive one to try out, go for it Hon.!
So often we let our fear of failing at something keep us from trying and that’s just plain wrong. Wrong in that not trying at all is by FAR worse than trying and failing.
Yes if you try something and you don’t succeed, others may note it and say “Gee that didn’t work did it?” BUT in my humble opinion, your own opinion of yourself is way more important. If you never try something you strongly desire to try, each and everyday you’ll be thinking to yourself, “Gee, I wonder what would happen if I tried”. Don’t let that be the thought you have on your deathbed… I wonder what I could have done if I had only tried.
Give yourself a chance, hold your head up and if anyone asks what you’re doing just tell them and add “maybe it’ll work and maybe it won’t but I’m going to try it and find out”.
